717 Battery is a 50,000 sq ft private social club being constructed in the Jackson Square neighborhood of San Francisco. This is four story building over a full basement will contain a fitness club and spa in basement with a full commercial kitchen, a basement wine cellar room, a 1st floor commercial kitchen and restaurant, a 2nd floor bar with parlor rooms and library, 3rd and 4th floor hotel rooms, and an outdoor spa on the roof. BMC is performing the plumbing, HVAC and mechanical design scopes of work on this project. The HVAC system will utilize five Daikin VRV heat recovery refrigerant systems utilizing 72 fan coils for the main heating and cooling system and will feature hydronic boilers for heating the spa and pool systems using domestic water and tempering outside air. BMC will also provide complete installations of the Sanitary Waste and Vent, Storm, Domestic Cold Water, High Pressure Cold Water, and Hot Water Supply and Return plumbing systems. This project has fast track building schedule to be operational in time for the 2013 America’s Cup in San Francisco Bay.
